Broward County Convention Center To Undergo $1 Billion Expansion At 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33316

There’s big changes in store for the Broward County Convention Center. A $1 billion initiative intends to expand the center’s total square footage by adding a ballroom, additional meeting spaces, and even hotel rooms for long-term guests. The project began back in February 2021 and hopefully will wrap up sometime in 2024. As a result, some areas of the convention center will be closed to the general public as the project continues construction.
